Minority, LGBTQ+, and immigrant-led social enterprise makes an in-kind donation of half-a-million dollars toward social impact during COVID-19 pandemic

CHICAGO, April 1st, 2020 - Chicago-based tech company Innovare - Social Innovation Partners has launched the #Innovare500 campaign, announcing it will donate half-a-million dollars in goods and services to education and nonprofit organizations affected by the COVID-19 crisis. 

“By empowering public sector leaders with the tools they need to succeed in their roles, we will see a positive ripple effect on students and communities,” said AJ DeLeon, CEO and co-founder of Innovare. “This will create a sustainable impact on our society, despite this pandemic.” 

Up to 30 organizations will receive a free license to Inno™, Innovare’s all-in-one data, strategy and project management software application. Innovare builds custom information dashboards designed so that schools and nonprofits can monitor their progress in real time and make decisions based on data. Since being founded in 2017, Innovare has worked with more than 60 schools, districts and NGOs both in the U.S. and Latin America, including Chicago Public Schools. 

“By utilizing Innovare’s human capital and  technical capacity to build social-impact organizations up, we hope to support public sector leaders during these uncertain times.” said DeLeon. 

Innovare will use equity-focused criteria to select the organizations that will receive this in-kind donation up to a limit of $500,000. A typical Inno™ license for schools starts at $7, 500 per year while non-profit licenses start at $25,000 annually. Applications can be submitted on the Innovare website until May 30, 2020.
